The Florida Gators lost to Michigan 79-59 in today's March Madness play in Arlington, Texas advancing Michigan to the Final Four.
Freshman Nick Stauskas put 22 points on the scoreboard to boost the Wolverines to a win. Stauskas was perfect from the 3-point attempt and nailed 6 attempts.
Boynton and Yeguete scored 13 each for the Gators who never put forth a challenge for the Wolverines. Michigan's defense focused on the high scoring Florida players Rosario and Murphy effectively shutting them down offensively.
Michigan heads to the Final Four for the first time since 1993.
Michigan has a very good freshmen class that came in this year. They are all effective and I am impressed with their team chemistry and obviously Burke and Hardaway Jr. are studs.
